This engine was custom built by me. Built around a single pneumatic cylinder, using custom valves for air distribution. The non-switching valve consists of 2 hose rings made up of cylinder chambers, operated by a pushrod with a single camshaft that clamps the hose to restrict airflow.
The entire valve assembly can rotate around the camshaft, allowing for a rotational angle offset between the camshaft assembly and the crankshaft to precisely adjust the timing (the ignition point of an internal combustion engine). The yellow wheel on the front panel controls the timing angle, with the yellow connector as a visual indicator.
The model also features a working throttle valve, which works on the same principle as the switchless valve, using a compression ring to restrict airflow. It is operated by a connecting rod connected to the red throttle valve. The idle mechanism then acts as an adjustable limit stop to set the engine's idle speed, operated by the red wheel.
Finally, the control panel can be opened to view the internal mechanisms.
